This delicate tea, made of one bud or one  bud and one young leaf barely hatched, was harvested in the spring (mid-April) in Songxi area- Fujian, at 800 meters high. The leaves are covered with a delicate hair that gives them a golden appearance.
It is a classic black tea from ancient China, produced from a long tradition.
 
Tasting notes : for 5 grams of tea in a 120 ml gaiwan, several infusions, water at about 95°C.
 
The infusion is golden and clear.
The head fragrance is chocolate, malty, with a hint of toasted.
On the palate, there are rich honey flavors, with malty notes, in a fruity and mellow bouquet full of sweetness.
The aromas are subtle and powerful, persistent.
